Mrs. Kristen Laurent
Mrs. Laurent joined the staff at Trinity in 2008 and is currently serving as the first-grade teacher.
She attended Southeast Community College where she received her Associate's degree in Early Childhood. She taught Preschool for three years and decided to return to college. She then attended Concordia University where she received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. After two years of teaching first grade, she received her Master's degree in Literacy from Concordia University.
Kristen grew up in Staplehurst, Nebraska, and attended Our Redeemer Lutheran School all of her elementary years. Her middle school and high school years were spent in Seward. Kristen's husband, Kent, grew up in Bridgeport, Nebraska. He works at Exel, as a supervisor. They have a daughter, Ava, who attends High School. She loves to play softball and is involved in many other sports. They also have a son, Graham, who attends Trinity. He loves to read, play video games, and play sports. The family stays busy attending sporting events and spending lots of time with our families.
